SCHOOL OF ART

The University of Houston School of Art is a collection of impressive resources–both human and material–focused intently towards creating and sustaining the intellectual, emotional and physical environments necessary to support young artists, designers, theorists, critics and art historians.

PROGRAMS

We offer the city's premier MFA in Art. Undergraduate artists can choose a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Painting, Photography/Digital Media, Sculpture or Graphic Design; they may also choose a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Art (which can lead to an all-level teaching certification).
